Serenity to me is peace but also freedom . Staying in verses going out, laying in bed watching a show after a long week or a deep feeling of calmness. Dancing in my art room, coloring or sketching out designs by the lake, staying consistent with my self care. Peace means protecting others but not forgetting yourself, your aura & your energy. To secure this it’s ok to say NO. I didn’t understand any of this until I moved away on my own. I will never forget this feeling. I am still working & growing in this area but I am here & I loving every moment of it. Allowing my brain to just pause for a moment & disconnect. I am serene.
For Serenity I chose blue because the color makes me feel calm. In combination with the free flow of the piece. The silver captures enough sparkle to illuminate the blue & further enhance the feeling of tranquility. White is often associated with the words “pure” & “clean” which add to the perfect color combination. Serenity truly captured what it means to me to be serene.
