This piece is special. The inspiration behind the color palette came from multiple other pieces on my explore page. Often my go to destination for inspiration from other mediums, colors and textures. The crafty idea with framing the heart came from my own big creative brain and recent events in my personal life. Wanting to present a piece with more luxurious elements also with a strong message of love, security, protection and something set aside. Beautiful, elegant, delicate but untouchable and invincible.
With every added detail this piece came alive and me more and more in love. Then it came down to naming it. Nothing corny nothing obvious “Forbidden” “Forbidden Love” “Adrielle” I even thought of naming it 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 one of my favorite Bible scriptures that resonate deeply with me. The scriptures say “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” I relate so much as I navigate love in my own life, with family members and trying to date.
“Love Never Fails” is a reminder to myself and a message to others that if it is real, if it is true, if it is genuinely pure and all these things Love Never Fails. With all the injustice, very unfortunate events and so much loss happening right now. I hope this piece can offer even the smallest amount of comfort, love and kindness to those who come across it or to the future home it will be displayed in. Love Never Fails.
